AcornPrep is an AP exam preparation platform that provides practice questions (MCQ and FRQ), AI-powered grading and tutoring, progress tracking, and social features including leaderboards and friend activity feeds.

3. Account Registration

To use AcornPrep, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be at least 13 years of age (or have parental consent)
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share, redistribute, or sell AcornPrep content or questions
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Platform
• Use the Platform to cheat on actual AP exams or misrepresent your abilities
• Harass, abuse, or send inappropriate content to other users
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards or features
• Interfere with the Platform's operation or security

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including questions, explanations, AI-generated feedback, design, and code — is owned by AcornPrep or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute this content without our written permission.

6. Premium Subscriptions

AcornPrep may offer premium features through paid subscriptions:

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may manage your subscription through the customer portal
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us for assistance

7. AI-Generated Content

AcornPrep uses AI to grade free-response questions and provide tutoring. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated feedback is for educational guidance only and should not be considered a definitive assessment. We recommend reviewing AI feedback critically and consulting teachers or official College Board resources for authoritative guidance.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

AcornPrep is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will result in any specific exam score improvement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AcornPrep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, exam results, or academic opportunities.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings or by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-app notification.
